The efd workroom is now located in the middle of the efd building and will not be operating as a shop frontage. 'Pop Up' shops will be operating from the workroom from time to time where you can purchase a number of unique handmade upcycled and recycled items.

Hi, I'm Elisabeth, more commonly known as Bizz.

I am the founder of efd and maker of bespoke curtains and blinds made here in Little River, Banks Peninsula.

My sewing journey started in my teenage years where I was always making things to wear for myself and friends. This moved to making window coverings for our own home.

An overseas lifestyle in England in 2001 found me applying my Curtain Making skills where I  worked with an Interior Designer in a small country town. This eventually led to fully immersing myself in the Interior Design Industry, sourcing fabrics, blinds, soft furnishings, curtain tracks and rods, and installing...all while continuing to make window furnishings. 

Returning home to Little River in 2003, I started my own business, efd, where I applied my skills in curtain and blind making, curtain installation, fabric sourcing and all things related to installing quality curtains and blinds in your home.

Working with fabulous fabric off-cuts and my treasured stash of re-claimed fabrics, I also create one-off items  such as bags, cushions and a range of other items.
