About efd 

Hi, I'm Elisabeth, more commonly known as Bizz, and I am the founder of efd and maker of curtains and blinds . I  also create joyful and unique clothing and accessories from pre-loved denims, furnishing fabrics, and quality thrifted fabrics..

I operate from my studio and workshop, efd , located in Little River, Banks Peninsula.

My curtain making journey started in 2001 where I worked in the UK creating bespoke curtains and blinds, but really I've been sewing and designing things all my life- enjoying the challenge of creating something unique and beautiful to meet a need.

During this journey I have acquired a solid understanding of anything and everything to do with fabric and windows and I continue to use these skills daily, whether it be choosing the best fabrics for the job at hand, overcoming challenges with practical and creative solutions, or simply just knowing what works best where.

I also take great pleasure in creating a range of unique clothing and bags, combining fabric off-cuts with new and quality thrifted fabrics. A particular favourite are my bags, dungarees, pinafores and embellished jeans.  Items are listed on the following pages and updated as new designs are made. Please contact me directly to purchase.

 The efd studio is open by appointment and you can also pop on in when you see my sign is out and open for business.
